From November 3 to December 15, 2023, project managers using information and communication technologies to improve access to care and quality medicines in African and Asian countries already implemented in the field (at least at the pilot stage) are invited to submit their applications by referencing or updating their project on the dedicated website page.
After reviewing the eligible applications, the Observatory’s group of experts will subsequently select the most relevant projects, which will be awarded an Observatory prize and benefit from one year’s financial and technical support. Since its creation, 41 winners have received support.
The prizes will be awarded at the Observatory’s 8th annual conference, to be held at the end of 2024 at the Fondation Pierre Fabre headquarters in Lavaur.

- December 20, 2023: e-mail confirmation of project registration
- from January 17, 2024: submission of application form for Observatory awards for eligible projects.
- from 17 January to 15 February 2024: opening of the second phase for eligible projects.
- end of April 2024: pre-selection of projects for field surveys
- by June 2024: contact is made with the laureates
- 10 October 2024: award ceremony during the ODESS conference at the Fondation Pierre Fabre headquarters in Lavaur, France.
