What problem does the initiative address ?
In Africa, there is no production of physiotherapy literature, and it is difficult for health professionals and populations to access existing literature.
Detailed description of the initiative
Kinedoc consists of a voluntary document sharing intiaitive based on the remote participation of French-speaking publishers, universities and institutions across four continents. Consulting the documentary database using the site’s search engine is free of charge.
Kinedoc allows you to index and upload various types of documentation :
publications (articles and books);
professional recommendations ;
grey literature (theses, dissertations, notices, etc.);
congress proceedings ;
official texts (laws and regulations).
This resource is constantly updated by an international network of professionals and institutions.
The website interface allows for quick and easy online indexing with 24/7 access.
What is the proposed solution added value ?
Kinedoc provides 30,000 free bibliographic references, of which one third of the complete texts can be downloaded for free.
