Jokkosanté, 2016 laureate of the Observatory, awarded by USAID

Laureate of the Observatory in 2016, Jokkosanté, an application providing more equitable access to quality medicines, has just been awarded by USAID on the sidelines of the 74th United Nations General Assembly in New York.The award targets private sector organizations that collaborate with the public health sector to develop innovations to improve accountability, price, accessibility and reliability of care.Launched in May 2019, the Inclusive Health Access Prize received nearly 400 applications from 68 countries. The jury selected 5 winners from Cameroon, India, Nigeria and Senegal who developed solutions to optimize health systems and help improve Universal Health Coverage.
