What problem does the initiative address ?
Currently, in Nigeria, immunization cards issued to mothers are used to record and plan immunizations, but they can be lost or contain errors. Immunization card collection rate is 8.2 % and immunization completion rate is 29% based on the National Survey of 2017.
Detailed description of the initiative
Remind Me is an offline data management and reminder system for immunization using USSD/Voice Technology. It aims to increase demand for vaccination services and improve the healthcare infrastructure. Remind me supports caregivers, government, development agencies and health workers.
What is the proposed solution added value ?
Remind Me, a full suite system for vaccination delivery, works completely offline for users. It works using a USSD code and other services can plug into it through API integration.
